Expert Analysis

I’ve been keeping my eye on Roman’s development for the last couple of seasons, and we finally get to see him playing at Linebacker in a full-time capacity this season. Through 5 games, Roman has totaled 62 tackles. He has very good eyes and vision on the play. He is able to play through blocks, with good hand usage, keeping his eyes on the ball, and has the strength and athleticism to shed the block and make a play. He shows good range and the ability to be a three-down linebacker. He is one colleges need to pay more attention to, and I would expect him to be making a jump in our post-season ranking update.

Aronson finished last season with 72 total tackles (41 solo). He’s currently listed at 215 pounds. Aronson has one of the better middle linebacker highlights that I’ve watched when it comes to showcasing his whole skill set. Aronson has a solid pass defender and can cover in space. He reads plays, passes or runs quickly, and closes on ball carriers in a hurry. A true sideline-to-sideline player who wraps up and finishes. On top of that, he’s a solid blitzer. You have to put a hat on Aronson, or he’s going to disrupt what you’re trying to do on offense.
