, a dominant WR out of Piedmont, just had a great start to his senior year in his team’s 24-8 win over Cherokee County.
“Pinto is an explosive threat at every level of the field. At 6’1 185, he’s an excellent route runner with a great set of hands and tons of speed he uses to stretch the field out wide. I’m super impressed with how easily and quickly Pinto gains separation off of DBs- it doesn’t matter what route he’s running, Pinto leaves defenders in the dust.
Pinto is also extremely tough to tackle after the catch. He does a great job using his speed and twitch to evade defenders and plays through contact to fight for every possible yard before being taken down.“
Pinto racked up 6 catches for 81 yards and one TD. Some of the plays Pinto made this week were downright ridiculous. If you throw it up to him, there’s a 99.99% chance he’s coming down with the ball- and he showed that all game Friday.
You’ve gotta watch this highlight below. You can see his concentration, catch radius, and hands on full display. Pinto is a dangerous player to have on the outside. I can’t wait to see how the rest of his season unfolds.

is a dominant WR out of Piedmont who put together a legendary season last fall and has seen his recruitment take off since then.

Pinto was unbelievable last season. He gave nightmares to DBs all year long and ended the season with 108 receptions for 1826 yards.
Last week, Pinto announced he was heading to Jacksonville State! I can’t wait to watch Pinto play this fall and at the next level; he’s a great kid and an even better player- huge things ahead for him.
As always, check out some of Pinto’s tape below:

Pinto was unbelievable last season. He gave nightmares to DBs all year long and ended the season with 108 receptions for 1826 yards. It’s still insane to think about what he accomplished last season. He literally set a long-standing state record and was just short of the 2k mark AS A JUNIOR.
It’s a no-brainer why Jacksonville State, Samford, Murray State, and others have been reaching out with offers. Pinto has shown it on tape, and even just ran a 4.5 at camp recently- with everything I’ve seen, it’s pretty clear, he has a huge senior year ahead of him this fall.

put up one of the most impressive receiving seasons I’ve seen since I started covering the state a few years back. He was unstoppable out wide for Piedmont and will be a huge problem for defenses across the state next season. Pinto is a threat at every level of the field- he’s an excellent route runner, has terrific hands and catch radius, and has the speed and twitch to flat-out embarrass defenders in the open field by creating massive gains after the catch. Pinto is also an extremely tough WR to tackle- he plays through contact extremely well, can shed off tacklers, and will fight for every possible yard before being taken down. Pinto was excellent last year and set a new state record for most receiving yards in a single season, ending the year with 108 catches for 1826 yards. With how well he’s played, colleges have started taking notice- a few weeks back Pinto picked up his first offer from North Alabama! Pinto put together some great tape you can watch below- he has some incredible talent and is set up for a huge season this fall.
