About River

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe it as stealthy, always finding the ball, powerful and strategic agility to pass-rush the quarter back.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm always looking to improve myself on and off the field. Football is more than a game for me; it's a lifestyle. I've played since I was 4 years old. I have had the opportunity to play on numerous travel teams, youth leagues, school teams. I always try to help the team improve individually and as an entity, we have played together for 4-5 years now and so we know each other works and responds.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I was in JROTC in 9th grade, student athletic trainee on my off-season at school. I am continuously on the A-B honor roll over the years and have still receive the awards for those.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer for the Football Youth Leagues most weekends. My church youth group meets up on Wednesday nights and work on various projects, not just on Sundays. In the beginning of May 2024, I was nominated (with my twin brother) to attend Buncombe County Sheriffs Leadership Camp for a week. I also attended youth camps over the last 7 summers through the YMCA and Camp Rockmont.
