His long run of 66 yards shows that while he thrives as a power back, he also has the burst to break free when given space. The next step for Bruno will be limiting turnovers, as three fumbles have slowed his momentum. He has yet to showcase his versatility in the passing game, but his downhill style has made him a focal point for his offense. Bruno’s ability to grind out yards late in games makes him a dangerous back to track in 2A football.

Throughout the season, he had 224 carries for 1316 yards and 13 touchdowns. Bruno has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, good change of direction and balance. Bruno shows good mental processing and good vision by identifying the correct holes to run through. Bruno also plays linebacker, which helps with extra knowledge of the gaps. After he gets through the line of scrimmage, Bruno utilizes his physicality to gain extra yardage. He’ll put his shoulder down, trucking through defenders. Or he will utilize his nasty stiff arm to push them on the ground. Throughout his tape, I noticed it takes multiple defenders to bring him down. He will drag them with him to gain extra yardage. He thrives by being physical with the defense. He had an impressive sophomore season, and I’m looking forward to seeing how he builds upon this for his junior year!

Bruno is a bruiser that has the ability to make the first defender miss. He does not go down easily and takes multiple defenders to bring him down. He does have the speed to pull away when he makes it to the second level as well. He topped the 1,000 yard mark this season and will be looking to be the top rushers in his conference this season.
