A pretty dang underrated defensive tackle. Richard Stewart Richard Stewart 5'11" | 260 lbs | DL Detroit MLK | 2026 State MI is polished. Quick hands, physical, and will likely earn a few quick trips into the Cass Tech backfield.
Cass Tech has a committee of good running backs, and they’d prefer to keep the ground game going. Richard is going to be vital in stopping the Cass Tech run and forcing them to throw the football. Additionally, Richard is a much better pass rusher than most interior defensive linemen. He could earn a few pressures.

Strengths

Weaknesses
- Short arms*
- Few instances of great power or anchor
– A little short for some colleges
Division 1 defensive tackle. Doesn’t have the frame/size of the B1G/SEC guys, but has incredible agility for his size and position. Can shed just about any High School guard. Does not allow runner to gain extra yards. Way better stamina than most DTs. Just like all the other D1 ranked guys, Richard is undersized, but still has very good potential as an interior defensive lineman.
