Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Rhys is a tight end who can do a little bit of everything on the football field, and that’s what makes him such an interesting prospect. Whether he’s lining up as an in-line blocker, getting out into his routes, or making catches downfield, Rhys gives his offense plenty of flexibility. What I like about his game is that he doesn’t have to be taken off the field depending on the situation. He can help create running lanes for his backs while also being a reliable option for his quarterback in the passing game. His ability to work across the middle and create opportunities after the catch adds another dimension to his skill set. Rhys has the type of versatility you want at the tight end position, and that’s something that should continue to draw attention as he develops.
