Looking back at some of our notes from this time last year, senior quarterback and linebacker Rhett Roberts Rhett Roberts 6'4" | QB Ringling | 2026 OK was on our radar. At the time, we thought he would have a breakout season on offense as a quarterback but he would actually end up being one of the team’s leaders on defense. He was one of the leading tacklers from the linebacker position. This season, we’re looking forward to seeing what kind of impact he can have on offense and defense. Roberts definitely will pass the eye test. He’s listed at 6’4 and 185 pounds and could end up being one of the top two-way players in Class A-2.

Roberts is considered one of the better 2026 athletes on the team and he’s listed as a quarterback and a linebacker and he’s also listed at 6’4. So without knowing much about him, he feels like a player who will bring a lot of physicality to the quarterback position and the size is definitely a plus when you’re talking about a quarterback. And don’t overlook him also having an impact on the defensive side of the ball at the linebacker position.
