Remi’e is a player I’ve seen up close at multiple showcases, and he’s a good offensive line prospect. His film from last season shows a player who is continuing to develop at a good pace. He absolutely is a people mover on down blocks in the running game. I saw that multiple times from him on film. Straight-ahead blocking also produces multiple pancakes. I love seeing the blocking to the echo of the whistle, too, that shows a player who loves contact and the game simultaneously. I’ve seen his pass protection ability at showcases, so he’s got the package to be successful; he just has to go out and put it all on film this year.

Remie was another player that I was able to see in person at the CFI Carolinas Winter Showcase, and he’s an interior OL prospect who showed good overall fundamentals and footwork. He doesn’t have a lot of recent film, but his early career film looks promising. I like his tenacity in the running game in particular, and with a 4.04 GPA per his Twitter profile, you know he has a high football IQ also!

I didn’t know much about Remi’e coming into the showcase, but a couple of people told me to watch him, and I think he’s going to be in consideration for our next rankings update. I liked the intensity and physicality he played with, most notably during the 1-on-1 period of the showcase. Remi’e also showed some good footwork and fundamentals during the individual period. He’s got a good senior year ahead of him for sure.
