One of the biggest surprises coming out of the East vs. West game was the play from Mitchell. The Tigers senior defensive lineman was a highly active performer throughout the All-Star game where he flashed an excellent motor and a pursuit towards the football. His relentless game play was tough to deal with in this game as West O-linemen had a hard time handling Mitchell’s physicality at the point of attack. The Tigers senior lineman also did solid work versus the run game as he set the edge well then got off the block to either make the play or force the ball carrier inside. Mitchell is still in pursuit of college offers and I think his work in this All-Star game should help further his stock as one of the more underrated D-linemen coming out of our #TN2025 class.

is a good disruptor that plays defensive end for Marshall County High School. He shows good first step explosiveness to penetrate into the backfield. Overall, good instincts to read run concepts and he will slip past blocks. Good technique, Mitchell stays square at the point of attack with solid hand usage. Good rushing the passer, he understands how to dip his shoulders to reduce surface area.

Mitchell is coming off a breakout junior season where he led his Tigers team in sacks while also earning multiple postseason honors and he more than backed that up at our Showcase where this 6 ‘3 defensive lineman earned his place on this list as a top performer. His work during both the testing and 1 on 1 competition were impressive, displaying deceptive athleticism as well as the versatility to play multiple positions across the defensive line. Where this Mid-Tennessee talent stood out the most was with his power and strength, working through O-linemen while also showing potential with his bend. More size and strength will need to be added, however the talent is there to be molded into a college prospect.
