About Reid

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a serious student of the game and work hard to be the most knowledgeable player on the field when I play. I also consider myself a creative play maker on the field who can find outside-the-box solutions when things break down. At the same time, I take great pride in making good decisions with the ball and work very hard to not make any mistakes.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am an intense, high energy player who plays with tons of emotion. My teammates say that they love my intensity and that it lifts them.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I currently have a 4.8 GPA. I take a very heavy AP course load. I have made High Honors at my school every semester.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was the starting SS in 8th grade on my varsity baseball team. And then I earned the starting QB job for my varsity football team in 9th grade. Both forced me to become a leader at a very young age. I’ve been named an accountability leader for my varsity football team in 10th grade and I was also a captain of my varsity football team in 10th grade.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve had to play though several injuries in my young career. Nothing super serious, but things that were a real physical challenge to overcome.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with good academics whose football program would be excited to have a really smart, high energy player who likes to create. I want to have a strong relationship with my coaches, so I’d like to play for a staff that builds good relationships with their players. I care nothing about money and nothing about transferring - when I choose my college, I’m there to stay.
