He’ll need to put it all together on the field as a senior this season, but the size and arm strength are there for Lilly to develop into a D2 prospect once he has more game film. He has the ideal physical traits that colleges are looking for and is a late bloomer prospect that programs should keep close tabs on this fall.

He was the most physically impressive quarterback in attendance, and that translated to arm strength when watching him throw on air and during 1-on-1s. Lilly can effortlessly throw the ball 40-50 yards down the field, and once he develops his consistency, he’ll level up his game tenfold. His current ranking is too low and he’ll see a jump in the summer rankings update coming soon with he potential to climb even higher if he puts it all together this season.

Lilly has great early size at 6’3 180 with the frame to continue adding mass that’ll raise his ceiling even higher. Lilly is a quality overall athlete who has the ability to tuck the ball and run when needed and can execute the option if needed. Mechanically, he’s pretty sharp at this stage of his development from watching some clips on his X account. You won’t find much evidence of his arm talent in his sophomore highlights, but from watching him operate on air, Lilly has all of the tools to develop into a top passer in this class.

Don’t be surprised if you see Lilly as a big-time stock riser after this season if he and the Red Dragons as a whole can take a step in the right direction under a new regime.
