The 6-foot-3 lineman had 108 tackles, 30 for a loss with 23.5 sacks and a blocked punt last season.
Bulabalavu chose Washington over seven other schools that offered him. He took visits to Arizona and Oregon State in addition to Washington.
He is the eighth player from California in Washington’s 2024 recruiting class.

Bulabalavu was near the top of every defensive category in San Diego last season for a lower level Army-Navy team.
I was interested in seeing how he would compete against some of the top offensive linemen in the area and he did a nice job. He is quick and is very strong for being only 250 pounds.
