As I’ve mentioned before, his playing style closely resembles that of Tony Pollard, a current NFL running back, during Pollard’s high school career. Add him to your recruiting board.

Mitchell displays good post-snap vision, allowing him to read the flow of first-level defenders and identify the hole to burst through. He exhibits good foot speed and burst, enabling him to quickly separate from initial defenders and easily navigate through the second level. His vision, body control, and lateral agility make him an effective multi-cut back who can elude defenders. Additionally, his ability to run north and south with his low center of gravity, maintain good contact balance, and drive his legs helps him finish plays and generate yards after contact. In the receiving game, Mitchell can line up wide or in the slot, excelling in screen and RPO situations, showcasing his versatility. He has the potential to be a dangerous three-down back, including in critical situations.

He can line out wide or in the slot, dominating in the screen or RPO game showcasing his versatility. He will be a highly recruited prospect once his senior year rolls around.
