Randy Yan Randy Yan 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR Upper St. Clair | 2026 State PA is a match-up piece for Upper St. Clair as a defender. He is excellent at both playing as a strong safety and as a free safety. At both positions, he is good at dropping in coverage and taking away passing lanes. He excels at playing in space. At both positions, he is also a good tackler. In particular, he is as good as a free safety flying upfield to make tackles in the open field. Yan is a good defensive player who should be even better going into his senior year.

Randy Yan Randy Yan 6'2" | 170 lbs | WR Upper St. Clair | 2026 State PA is a matchup piece for the Upper St. Clair defense. He played as both a strong safety and a free safety last year. As a strong safety, he shows a good ability to play near the line of scrimmage against the run and the pass. He has a good feeling for the game as he can read whether it is a pass or run and make the appropriate play. As a free safety, he shows good coverage skills as he plays the deep ball well. At both positions, he also shows a good ability to tackle in the open field. Yan recently visited Carnegie Mellon University. I can see him having a real chance at playing College Football in the future.
