Henderson led all underclassmen in tackles for Colony last season and added three sacks, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions.

He chose San Diego State over Delaware State, Eastern Washington, Northern Arizona and UC Davis who also offered him. Henderson is the fifth player from California in San Diego State’s 2026 recruiting class and the second defensive back.

Henderson is a high caliber athlete with good growth potential and a projectable frame at 6’3” 180 lbs. He’s a downhill OLB that uses his instincts and anticipation to make game changing plays in both run support and coverage. Possesses quick lateral movement and plus burst to close in pursuit to play the field sideline to sideline. Good combination and variety of speed and power moves to get off blocks and free himself up to make a tackle. He’s a high motor guy that flies around with intent and is strong at the POA to wrap up and finish ball carriers to the ground. Good positional flexibility to play multiple positions at the college level depending on development and need. Collected his first offer from Northern Arizona and is expected to see increased recruiting attention going forward.
