Washington is a long and rangy edge player with long arms, big strides and can cover tons of ground turning the corner and setting the edge. He does a nice job using his length to keep blockers away from his chest, shows he can get underneath punches and convert speed to power consistently in pass rush situations. He is a very twitchy prospect that can counter back inside/chase down ball carriers backside and plays with good leverage and initial strike power when collapsing the pocket. He will only continue to add mass to his frame over the next two seasons and should have a truly breakout Junior year for Serra and be closing in on his first offers soon as a edge rusher/outside linebacker.
