The Tigers’ standout, nicknamed “Bear”, has been exactly that for opposing tacklers to try to bring down this season as he’s established himself as Louisiana’s breakout player of the year.
Adams was one of a pair of 1,000-yard rushers for Terrebonne last season, though somewhat quietly outside of his local area. He has already far surpassed that mark this fall with three games remaining in the regular season.
Quincy has stockpiled eye-catching highlights, breaking tackles and powering through and over defenders along the way. And Coach Tyler Lewis has been praising his improved speed which has helped him average more than 10 yards a touch.
Through seven games, Adams has already racked up 1,272 yards and 18 touchdowns on 125 carries, plus another 159 yards and two scores on eight catches. He’s also thrown for 267 yards and three scores on 12-for-23 passing.
