Lyle had a huge night this past Friday, completing 16/29 passes for 320 yards and 2 TDs.

Lyle is up to 6’3 180, and still has room to get bigger. This is on pace to be his breakout year on varsity. He is a dual-threat QB and a natural athlete, helping him escape chaos and create as a runner. Lyle has adequate arm strength, but it’s his touch and timing that impress me the most. He is capable of dropping the ball into the bucket in the red zone, a tough throw to make. Lyle is a high upside option with some impressive finesse.

Qadir Lyle is a talented quarterback with exceptional scrambling ability. Lyle has some impressive elusiveness and agility with the capability to extend plays and make things happen with his legs. Whenever the pocket collapses or passing options are limited, Lyle is great at using his mobility to evade defenders and create opportunities. If its not a passing play, Lyle thrives on QB runs where his speed and quickness let him make big time plays on the ground. When you pair that up with his ability to throw the ball as well, it makes game planning as a defense against him a headache. Lyle is just a dynamic playmaker with a ton of potential- be on the lookout for him this fall- when he sees the field plays are going to be made!

Qadir Lyle has a ton of potential for Austin High going into his sophomore season. Lyle has a good frame, handles pressure well, and possesses a huge arm as well. In game, Lyle can be seen breaking sacks and putting the ball where it needs to be when he’s under heavy duress. As a freshman, it’s really hard to coach that, and he seems to already possess that ability. On the limited tape he has up right now, its clear that he has a ton of talent ready to be harnessed heading into his sophomore season- keep any eye on him!
