About Preston

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a high-energy, team-first player who competes on both ends of the floor. I play fast, stay aggressive, and look to make the right read whether that’s scoring, facilitating, or locking in defensively. I take pride in playing hard every possession and doing whatever it takes to win.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m competitive, coachable, and disciplined. I hold myself to a high standard and stay focused on improving every day. I stay composed under pressure and bring positive energy to my team. I’m confident in my abilities but always willing to learn and grow.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I stay active in school and the community and take academics seriously. I’m committed to balancing athletics with strong character and leadership off the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through sports and organizing a competitive 3v3 basketball league, I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. As a leader, I’ve learned how to communicate clearly, resolve conflicts, and hold teammates accountable while still keeping morale high. Managing schedules, rules, and player situations has strengthened my organization and decision-making skills.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I’ve faced is balancing academics, athletics, and leadership responsibilities. Managing schoolwork while staying committed to training and running a league required strong time management and discipline. There were moments when the pressure felt overwhelming, but I learned how to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and remain focused on long-term goals.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that offers strong academic programs while also providing opportunities for leadership, involvement, and personal growth. I want a competitive environment that pushes me to improve both academically and athletically.
