About Phoenix

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hard-hitting player with a high IQ, strong fundamentals, and good footwork. I bring physicality to every play and never back down from a hit.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Highly driven, outgoing, and a fast learner. I stay focused with a strong work ethic and competitive, but I know when to take it down a notch. I support my teammates and friends on and off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

(Silver Medal) National Latin Exam, Immanual Lutheran Church Youth Group, A Cappella Choir Group at School

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve built leadership, discipline, and teamwork through participation on three varsity teams as a freshman and sophomore, including varsity wrestling and track. I was voted class leader for the varsity football team by my peers as a freshman and served as captain in the Jefferson District Youth Football League in 8th grade, while also serving as an acolyte at my church for five years.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As a freshman, I was a part of an 8-man football team. We won states, but this year when we went to 11-man, we struggled heavily. We were a very small small team of 22 people at our peak (before injuries) and I struggled to find teammates who pushed me or made me better, so I had to fight through that by working harder and pushing my teammates to have a similar work ethic.

What type of college are you looking for?

My dream is to compete at the FBS level while attending a strong academic school with a well-rounded campus life, preferably on the East Coast, but am open to exploring other opportunities.
