About Peyton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I usually like to play it safe and smart, waiting for the perfect moment. But when I see an opening, I go all in to take over the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

For me, sports aren't just about showing up and playing hard, they're a mental game. I love the strategy. Thinking a few steps ahead of the other team, figuring out their weaknesses, and then making a play that proves I was right. It's a thrill when a plan comes together. I put a lot of time into the game, watching film and studying my competition, because I know that effort off the field

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm actively involved in several org and have received a non-sport award. I'm a member of the FFA and the FCA. Im a member of the Prairie Grove Baseball team. In 2024, I was honored to be the State winner of the Elks Lodge Americanism essay contest. When I'm not on the field or with these groups, I enjoy fishing, riding my four-wheeler, and spending time with my family

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have definitely picked up some good skills. Playing sports has taught me a ton about teamwork and how to work with other people to get stuff done. It also helps me talk to my teammates better on the field. Being in FFA and FCA has given me a chance to be a leader and do some cool things for my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A big challenge for me has been trying to balance school, football, and baseball. With harder classes and long practices, it was tough at first. I had to learn how to manage my time better and get more disciplined. It's still a work in progress, but I'm getting better at it.

What type of college are you looking for?

Right now, I'm really focused on finding a school that offers a great education while letting me continue to play the sports I love. I'm hoping to stay close to home so I can be near my family and friends, which is really important to me. I'm open to exploring different types of schools and programs as long as they have a good fit for me athletically and academically.
