Parnell is already an EDGE rusher that I have lined up to move up quiet a bit up our 2027 rankings but with the live eval this morning, his stock continues to roll forward. The verified 6’2 225 pounder was an immediate eye-test not just for me, but the college coaches in attendance athletically. He’s taken a big step forward in the offseason with his foot speed and seen grown with how agile his get off has become while also adding to his frame. Parnell is surely one that I have as one of my double-digit spot movers as far as our overall 2027 rankings in North Dakota align. Parnell is a prospect out of Fargo North that plays in muliple spots, but has found his ideal spot in his junior season at defensive end. The 6’2 220 pounder is a pure tackler that has well-versed angles as a pass-rusher that has gotten better from summer camps with his tightness around corners. He carries the range of a linebacker-edge which makes me think that moving at the next-level as an edge rusher is a natural fit as Parnell can get to the outside edges more fluidly than most DEs you see in this 2027 group. He should be one to watch for at camps this summer, as I feel I will see some of the upside I saw last summer in Jamestown become more untapped. Jumped up from the watchlist to our top 75.
