was a big cog in the middle of the Cardinals OL, paving the way to that 7-3 record with his grit and finishing ability. The LG’s whistle to whistle effort and leg drive scream at you on film, and I also like how Watterson makes sure that his pass pro isn’t passive, a good footballism to embody. The 235 lber. gets his hands on an opponent’s chest plate and really works to finish once he finds a leverage advantage, and he shows some noticeable pop and physicality as a puller. Puts defenders on their butts with a full head of steam with ease. Watterson quickly punches and extends, getting his hands on and staying engagement throughout a rep with a defensive lineman, and he quickly closes and finds work when climbing to the second level and running down and corralling LBs and DBs out in space. Real physical presence from the interior of the OL. Perfect DIII, NAIA, or JUCO recruit to add to your college recruiting boards! Hopefully you’ll get to see him at April 18th’s PRZMN Spring Exposure Series in Plymouth.
