Trofholz has had a breakout season as he leads the Trojans in receiving with 36 receptions for 524 yards and two receiving touchdowns. Owen is a bigger, lengthier receiver at 6’4″ and 190 pounds with room to continue filling out his frame at the next level. His mix of size and athleticism allows him to be used across the formation, really thriving as a bigger slot receiver who can attack and make tough catches over the middle of the field. He has reliable hands at the catch point and is strong enough to hold on to the ball when battling through contact. One thing that stands out about Trofholz is his willingness to work back to the ball and use his size to box out defenders at the catch point. You can also move Owen to the outside, where he has shown the ability to take the top off of a defense and can go up to win the 50/50 balls. Sleeper prospect who would be a steal at this point in the cycle!
