Hill measures in at 5’10 168-pounds playing RB/WR for Moffat County. He had 94 carries for 469 yards with 4 touchdowns, including 10 receptions for 99 yards. Hill has good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, good change of direction, and balance. Very good vision to run though the defense. Hill thrives in short yardage situations. He uses his strong base and powerful legs to churn forward and get the first down. Very good inside running with good outside running. If a gap is covered, he’ll pivot into the open one and thrash the defense for a big gain. Hill has also shown to be productive in the receiving game with his very good ball tracking and good catching. I’m excited to see Hill take the next step this off-season.
With last season’s lead back graduating, Hill is expected to take over as the primary ball carrier. Though used primarily as a gadget player last year, he made the most of his opportunities, rushing for 449 yards while averaging over 8.0 yards per carry. His ability to break long runs was evident, rushing for a long of 58 yards, showcasing his speed and explosiveness to make things happen on the perimeter. With an expanded role this season, Hill has the tools to become a standout player in 2A. His combination of speed and physicality makes him a name to watch for both fans and scouts alike.
Hill made his presence felt proving to be a reliable playmaker on the ground. Hill carried the ball 10 times for 127 yards and 2 TDs, consistently finding ways to make plays happen on the perimeter. His speed and agility allowed him to break outside runs and gain chunk yardage, while his nose for the end zone ensured that he capitalized when his team was in scoring position. His ability to create explosive plays will be turning some heads in the next couple of weeks.
