One of a couple XL offensive linemen in attendance was Eastview 2028 offensive linemen Owen Bauer Owen Bauer 6'7" | 250 lbs | OL Eastview | 2028 State MN and was one that showed off the upside you would expect, but also had skillsets that caught our attention on Saturday. He intrigued me with the power that is there with his first step as you could gauge that there is more strength at the point of attack. Owen clearly has a long reach that deserves some credit for what he showed on Saturday as there is more power than you might expect at the moment. The upside in my eyes lies with his footwork during pass-pro, as Owen can develop by getting more agile with his lower body. But no doubt the now 6’8 285 pounder surely passes the eye test with flying colors for those college coaches out there.
