Ramirez delivered a fundamentally sound performance, showcasing the traits of a disciplined linebacker. His footwork stood out early, as he moved efficiently through drills with balance and control. Ramirez paired that with strong vision, allowing him to react quickly to the football and put himself in position to make plays. What separated his performance was his ability to translate drill work into live reps, carrying that same fluidity into 1v1 and half line. He showed comfort dropping into coverage, demonstrating awareness and the ability to read developing routes. Ramirez’s well rounded showing highlights a linebacker who understands the position and continues to trend in the right direction.

Ramirez had a nice outing as well! He has good athletic ability due to good speed, change of direction, jumping, and acceleration. During the individual drills, Ramirez demonstrated his ability to be coached. He took in the lessons, and implemented them into his game during the drills. He has good mental processing by consistently watching the QB and the ball carrier. He didn’t let the TE get out of his sight, and created some pass breakups. I’m excited to see Ramirez continue growing as a linebacker!

In 3v2 and 7 on 7 periods, he showcased his ability to drop into coverage and disrupt passing lanes, using his quickness and vision to frustrate receivers.
