height and weight have been confirmed by his attendance at the Umass and Syracuse camps, where he measured 6’2.75″ and weighed 167 pounds at the Syracuse camp. Additionally, he achieved a verified 5-10-5 shuttle time of 4.19 seconds, a broad jump of 9’8″, and a vertical jump of 31 inches, all recorded during the Umass camp. However, he did not participate in the 40-yard dash at the Umass camp due to a minor knee tweak he sustained before the event and a recommendation from his high school coach to avoid running the full-speed 40-yard test, given his slight injury. He was given an early offer from the former Umass staff during the fall 2024.

Orion is a rising Junior prospect. He plays at Middlesex School in Massachusetts. He stands out immediately with his lengthy athletic frame. At the camp he stood out in the drill period with the Defensive Backs showing off his elusive playmaking ability from the defensive side of the ball. Has good feet, hips & hands. He high points the ball naturally going up and attacking the ball at its highest point every chance he got. I can see him playing on either side of the ball. He is the definition of an athlete for sure. He will most likely take on a role on either offense or defense this year if not both at Middlesex.
His Physical Measurables (height & weight) align with a Division 1 Prospect.

Orion has FBS measurables at the WR position. He stands 6’3 with long arms.. His frame naturally makes him a target with a big radius to throw too. Throughout the 1 on 1 and red zone drills, Orion showed and played with competitiveness. He looked like a natural hands catcher of the football. Did a nice job of coming down with catches even when he looked to be covered. Saunders, only a class of 2026, is going to rise to the top with continued physical development.

Film Highlight Review: Orion plays both WR and CB. At WR, he shows a large catch radius and reliable hands. He runs smooth, clean routes, and shows big play after the catch ability. At CB, he shows good footwork and gets in and out of breaks with few steps. Orion has a high-level body type. A strong off-season will propel his rankings.
Projection: His physical measurables (height and weight) align him as a Division 1 prospect.
