About Oliver

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play fast, use quick hands and quick footwork, with the mindset that the quarterbacks face mask will end up in the turf by the end of the play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a ver nice person at school and in my everyday life, but as soon as I step on a football field I want to do everything in my power to overpower my opponent and I am a jerk on the field. I have a kill or get killed mentality. I don’t care how many stars you have or what organization you are apart of, if your lined up across from me, no matter the outcome, i’ll make sure it’s unforgettable.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At school I am involved in a variety of organizations and clubs. I am involved in our student ambassadors program, peer mentor program, Relay for life team captain, founder of our school ultimate frisbee club, investment club, won outstanding student award in Geometry and am a multiple honor roll recipient.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed multiple different skills through our leadership positions at schools but the most important skill would be gaining the skill of rolling with the punches, learning that almost every situation will never be as straight forward as you like, and to be able to navigate your way thorough these road bumps is what will make you succeed.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I was a junior in high school we played for the varsity region championship in the best region in Tennessee and through bruises and marks across all of our bodies, we won the game to make us the best team in the region!

What type of college are you looking for?

A mid size to large 4 year university with a great atmosphere.
