About Oliver

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a wide receiver, I’m long, fluid, and explosive off the line with polished route-running and strong body control. I separate with technique, track the ball naturally in stride, and use my 6’2”, 190-pound frame to win vertically, high-point the football, and break tackles while finishing through contact — all of which shows up consistently on film.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m quiet and composed. I let my play speak for me, but I can mix in some trash talk when it matters. I lead by example, stay prepared, and communicate with my teammates so everyone’s on the same page. I compete with balance and toughness, don’t shy away from the war, and I’m hard to bring down because I’m focused on first downs, making plays, and scoring.”

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve worked hard to break out of my shell and become more social and outgoing. I used to be in my own bubble, but I’ve built strong connections with teammates and coaches, which has made me a better communicator, a more supportive teammate, and someone who helps create positive team chemistry.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was during my sophomore year when I broke my wrist on the growth plate during the first padded practice. I missed five games and nearly two months, and watching from the sideline was mentally tough. Later that year, a hip injury cost me basketball, 7on7, and most of track, teaching me resilience and not to take the opportunity to play for granted.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a program that feels like true brotherhood, full of good, supportive people and coaches who build lifelong connections and a positive culture, not ego or drama. A school I can proudly represent because of its character and community. Strong academics are important (my 3.9 GPA), and I want coaches who will invest in developing me into the absolute best receiver I can become.
