Brick Memorial has a receiver prospect in Nyzier Matthews Nyzier Matthews 6'3" | 170 lbs | WR/DB Brick Memorial | 2026 State NJ that has size, speed, and the ability to make some moves. Matthews’ speed is on display due to the fact that he seems to outrun his quarterback’s arm, often times having to work back to the ball or slow down. When his quarterback does hit him in stride, we see that this 6’1″ receiver can effectively high point the ball and appears to exclusively use his hands when catching the ball. Matthews’ open field skills are very strong as well, as he is able to create space for himself in 1on1 situations; moreover, he is difficult to bring down to the ground in such situations and seems to always make the first man miss. This translates to the return game, where he is weaponized by Brick Memorial as well. Lastly, Matthews’s sharps are naturally and inherently sharp.
