Noland earned DB MVP honors with a performance that stood out not just in live reps, but across every drill at the camp. In coverage drills, he stayed disciplined, maintaining proper depth and leverage while mirroring receiver routes smoothly. One of the most underrated athletes in the class, Hawkins, despite the loss, was electric on both sides of the ball. He displayed development on the offensive side, finding the creases in zone coverages and reeling in 2 deep touchdowns. Hawkins totaled 6 catches for 132 yards. Defensively, he showcased his great instincts and ball skills at free safety, jumping a route to catch an INT. Nolan also had three tackles, demonstrating his short-area quickness and high motor. His performance against a strong Lewisville secondary displayed that he is going to be a weapon in the Bobcats offense this fall.

The second of a pair of Byron Nelson standout sophomores, Hawkins is a centerfielder for the Bobcats’ defense. He displays great ball skills to reel in interceptions and the instincts to disrupt passes all over the field. Nolan plays with incredible effort, launching himself and diving at all angles to break up passes. He also possesses solid change of direction and the ability to flip his hips to either get downhill or run with receivers on deep routes. A versatile free safety, Hawkins sees the field extremely well and is never out of any given play. As a freshman, Nolan accumulated 3 INTs, 5 pass breakups, and 39 tackles. He’s continued to put in the work leading into the season, adding offers from Baylor, Texas Tech, and TCU.
