(Harvard), and tight end Michael Ficociello (Bates). Byrne’s listed height of 5-foot-9 is likely a bit generous, but he’s a tough runner for his size nonetheless. Byrne has limited 2025 highlights because he sustained a torn ACL and was limited to five games. Still, it’s evident that Byrne has good speed and can change direction quickly, a combination that makes him a big-play threat when he has the ball. HIs limited highights made it difficult to judge his ability as a receiver, but college coaches will like the fact that he carries the ball high and keeps it tight to his body, which reduces the likelihood of a fumbling. Byrne’s strong academics will open some doors for him, and if he can add size and strength his football skills could produce some added college options as well.
