Lining up on both sides of the ball and showing great versatility last season was Weimer. There are a few things about his game specifically that I love. The first is that he’s a high-motor player. I’ve always been a big fan of high-effort guys. Guys who give high effort and have elite talent tend to go far. If you then produce at a high level it’s typically an indication of things to come. Weimer can clear the way up front in the running game with his ability to win even without leverage. He’s then able to wrap up, shut down, and clog the running game on defense. Both sides of the ball he’s there to do his job and his part.
