Thompson showed maturity beyond his years by stepping up against a loaded receiver group and competing without hesitation. While many underclassmen might shy away from the challenge, he embraced it, took constructive coaching, and improved rep by rep throughout the session.

Thompson has a solid athletic foundation — solid speed, short distance explosiveness in space, and a natural feel for being around the football. Flashed solid cover ability in both press and off coverage, along with high football IQ and excellent reaction time. The tools are there for him to grow into one of the better DBs in his class.
