Huron was easily the most improved team in 11AA last year and although they lost a handful of athletes in their 2026 class, what they have in the trenches in 2027 and 2028 show some promise, including 2028 defensive linemen Noah Owen. He has powerful hands that has more agility than you would expect from a sophomore nose tackle and has tech flexibility in my eyes especially in a 3-4 look on defense. He also has upside in his development by getting off blocks quicker in the coming season to be an even more capable run-stopper for the Tigers defensive front.

A 2028 defensive tackle that kept my attention during the live reps in Aberdeen, was Noah Owen out of Huron. What impressed me in the live eval on Noah, was the persistent shedding ability he showed off with his hands that also processed with plenty of power at his disposal. Noah was one I wish I would caught more reps on, as I felt he played above his grade in the reps I did watch and showed off the upside to become a solid run-stuffer for the Tigers incoming with a really intrguing frame for his age that is just getting warmed up in this 2028 class.
