A tackling machine out of Walton who is one of the top returning linebackers across the state, LaVallee is a big-time defender who, after taking an official visit to Florida State, decided to commit to the Seminoles this week over Ole Miss, Michigan State, among others. The physical, instinctive linebacker made 124 tackles as a junior last fall with 15 TFLs, one sack, and two fumble recoveries. Look for LaVallee to make Florida Stat fans proud with a gaint senior season in the fall.
LaVallee is a 6’2 220 LB that I first noticed back in January. At the time I mentioned that LaVallee was underrated and I expected him to move up the Ranking Charts next Fall. Well it seems like the college scouts fired up the same tape I did and have taking notice. LaValle has received 15+ offers including Florida State, Georgia Tech and UNC.
A natural LB with great instincts for the ball. LaVallee is one of the top tacklers returning in 6A after recording 124 TT his Junior season. He will be a 3-year starter at the States highest level and has the potential to be in consideration for the overall DPOY.
The 6’2 220 LB has seen his recruiting heat up during this Winter Period. A two year starter that took his production to the next level during his Junior season with 124 TT with 8 TFL. Athletic, physical and has natural instincts at the LB position. Has the speed and mobility to cover RBs out of the backfield and has exceptional tackling technique.
Outlook
The D1 offers have started to roll in for this talented LB with Memphis, Buffalo, and JMU offering in just the past few days. In my opinion he is underrated in our rankings and maybe a Top 5 LB prospect after next season.
One of the top linebackers in Cobb County and across the state in the 2026 class, LaVallee is a strong-tackling defender who can sneak out the run and chase down the ballcarrier. He’s consistently where he needs to be and does a great job of finding his way to the ball. He brings good size, toughness, and an aggressive style of play that has led to 104 tackles, six TFLs, one sack and two fumble recoveries. He’s made at least 10 tackles in seven of his nine games this year with a big 18-tackle performance earlier this year against North Cobb. He already holds a giant offer list and could see more come his way after a strong junior season.
LaVallee is a linebacker who is effective in pursuit. Breaks down well, flows to the action, and displays solid lateral speed. Solid open-field tackler who remains disciplined with assignments and is aggressive. Relatively instinctive and effectively reads plays.
