Heppner is one of the higher-end 9-man defensive linemen, and as he continues to pack on weight he continues to cause bigger and bigger problems in the trenches. He boasts a nasty bull rush which he uses to bully smaller offensive linemen but has also showcased solid bend around the edge. His quick first step and his physicality will wear on offensive linemen throughout a game. Combined with Heppner’s relentless pressure, he’s becoming a serious problem for opposing offensive lines. With a solid camp circuit season, I could see Heppner’s stock rising significantly.
