About Nico

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Twitchy movement , natural instincts , plays downhill as middle linebacker , has incredible nose for the ball , runs through lead blockers , the hammer in middle of the defense but plays sideline to sideline. Please cut the tape!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Tough and competitive. Laid back but always looking to hang out and have fun with friends. Super intense competitor on the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

NJ FBU team 10U, 6th grade and upcoming season (7th grade). RFH select lacrosse team (A team) starts on defense and plays LSM. Mid Monmouth basketball team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Natural leader , has biggest games vs best competition. Has been team captain every year dating back to 9U AYF. Holds himself and team mates accountable on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have lost playoff games , I challenged myself in the off season by working at my craft and developing skills.

What type of college are you looking for?

One that has prestigious tradition on the field and in the classroom.

The Prep Redzone Next New Jersey Who’s Next Middle School Exposure Camp was the third time I’ve seen Pizzola play live since September and it was another strong showing for him. A member of the 12U Jersey Shore AYF All-Stars this December, he showed why he was an excellent selection for the 2025 National Runner-up squad. He did a solid job during combine testing, highlighted by 2031 Linebacker-best 7’6″ in the broad jump.
