Nico enters the season with a new head coach, but the mindset remains the same that killer instinct is still there. He put it on display with 206 passing yards and two touchdowns through the air, while adding 62 rushing yards on the ground. Nico continues to show the ability to make plays in multiple ways and looks ready to lead the offense into a new chapter.

Nico enters the season with an opportunity to take control of the offense and show how much his game has developed. He has the ability to keep plays alive when the pocket starts to collapse, giving his offense another way to move the chains when the first option is no longer available. As the year progresses, I’ll be watching his consistency as a passer, particularly his ability to make throws on time and stay composed when defenses bring pressure. If Nico can put those pieces together, he has a chance to turn this season into a major step forward and establish himself as a quarterback to watch.
