Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Nicklas is the type of defensive tackle who never takes a play off. He’s outstanding against the run, using his strength and leverage to control the line of scrimmage. Once he sheds a block, his motor immediately takes over. He pursues the ball with urgency, closes quickly, and finishes plays making tackles. He’s also capable of creating pressure on the quarterback by collapsing the pocket and fighting through contact. His effort and ability to chase down ball carriers make him a constant factor on defense.
