Nicholas had a strong showing at the Showcase and looking incredibly smooth & accurate in QB drill work. He posses a live arm and a quick release. Allowing him to get real nice zip/velocity on his short to intermediate passes. Ball comes out of his hand real smooth with a tight spiral. DeLuca also showed off impressive footwork mechanics. Is fluid in the pocket in his movement and able to move & throw on the run with accuracy. A high IQ QB who knows what to do with the ball, Nicholas showed off traits that certainly caught coaches attention. He is also a high academic prospect carrying a 4.3 GPA & 1220 SAT making him a must eval player for High Academic FCS/D3 schools.
