About Nathan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a playmaker with good hands. I am taller than most of my defenders, jump higher, and make clutch plays. I can take hits and am physical. I catch the deep balls, using my tracking experience from baseball. Leading with my strong legs, I'm hard to take down on short routes where I need to get YACs.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Humble, leader by example but also with empathy. I am a competitor, and calm in tense situations. Not the loudest player on the team but make very solid relationships with teammates and coaches. Not afraid to take ownership of my performance, good or bad. Mental resilience built from years on the pitching mound.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Travel baseball: Illinois Hit Dogs Busch 16U, top 50 nationally ranked team, OF 3B P. High School baseball - Downer Grove South, OF 3B P I volunteer at West Suburban food pantry a few hours every month Athletes Committed to Excellence (ACE) - volunteer program that fits in athletes schedules DECA, member Honor roll every semester, 4.0+ honor roll last 2 semesters

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Communication - with Coaches and Teammates Dedication to fitness and overall body health to avoid injury and perform to my maximum Leadership by example - strong mental strength through good times and bad Caring about the well being of others Community service - giving back for all that I have been given

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Last season, had mental and physical challenges. Baseball - started on varsity as a freshman, hit a batting slump and had to work myself out of w batting coach and diligent work ethic to build confidence Football - broke pinky finger in summer camp; had to learn plays starting in wk 1 so stayed after practice to run routes; was starting on varsity by wk 3.

What type of college are you looking for?

Big schools, ideally Big 10 if I fit in their program since I live in the midwest. However, I also understand that the transfer portal is having an impact on recruitment and interested in talking about all opportunities.
