How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

good gap control, Coachable, Big hitter, Smart, Disciplined, Fly’s to the ball, Confident, Tough, aggressive

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm better than anyone I match up with, no matter how many stars, what. even if im not i put it in my mind that i am.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm involved in my church's youth group. We meet every Wednesday to grow our faith in the Lord and Savior.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership skills within my team sophomore year. Freshman year, I sat back and kinda just listened to what the leaders of the team said to me because I was an underclassman. Now that I am in my second year on varsity, I have become a leader for our offensive and defensive line group. I make sure to lift my teammates when they're in their heads or overthinking after a bad play.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I missed a few games freshman year due to a concussion and a fracture in my arm

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to go to a college that treats football like some sort of business, teaching me all the important features of my major and what business fields would suit me. I want the college I attend to help me chase my dream of making it to a professional football league and help me market myself to make it there.

Phillips passes the eye test. Measuring in at 6’2 230 pounds, Phillips has a great frame to build on. He has a nice get-off and power rush. Where I think Phillips can grow the most is in his ability to bend and use his athleticism to win the edge. I thought he gave up on the edge way to quickly and that made it a lot easier on the blockers to anchor and take away his power. I think the flexibility and ability to bend is in there and if he can tap into that, his game is going to skyrocket.
