About Nathan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would say I'm a faster receiver with good sideline awareness, good contested catching and decent size.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a more reserved person with a very hard work ethic. I consider myself a leader that leads by example. I want to see the best version of myself come through. I know there will be a lot of work I have to do (and a lot of people I have to outwork) to get where I want to be. That challenge drives me to be the best I can be not just on the field, but also in the classroom.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in the National Honors Society and have received the American Legion School award for my character in school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am in the leadership council at my school, and we work towards being able to motivate and be exemplary figures to our peers in school/sports environments. For community service, I volunteer at youth tackle football camps and coach younger kids in the weight room over the summer.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During the track season, I had a hip injury that took me out for a few weeks right before sectionals and state. I ended up overcoming the injury, qualifying for state in the 110 hurdles and the 4x100, and getting a personal best of 14.98 seconds in the 110 hurdles at state (all as a sophomore). I was awarded Varsity Track & Field MVP my Sophomore year.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has great academics along with a good, respectable coaching staff that I know I would be able to thrive under.
