About Nathan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A dual threat QB that has good throwing mechanics and a DB who can play man to man and zone well. Has played many positions and will play anywhere you put me on the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a hard worker that wants the keep growing my football mind. I call my self a leader on my team and I my teammates would agree.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honors Society

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership by playing quarterback and leading my team. I have also learned community service through NHS and programs my teams have put on.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I didn't win my QB battle in my first 3 seasons in high school and decided to play other positions like WR and DB in my junior season. During my junior season I suffered a broken fibula cutting my season short.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to go somewhere where I can continue to play the game I love while earning a degree that will help me later in life.

A talented DB and the projected QB1 for the St. Anthony Huskies ahead of next season, Benz, showed up in shape and ready to work last week. He’s an athletic kid with quick footwork and an arm I’m eager to see more of. I liked a lot of his work in the red zone throughout the evening, particularly with shorter routes across the middle. I’m curious to see how he does during his senior year as the Huskies’ signal-caller, because Bentz could turn into a series two-way threat.
