often gets overlooked because he plays at a small school. I was excited to see him compete with other quality quarterbacks and he blended right in.
He moves decently well for a guy who isn’t a running threat and he throws a nice ball. Richie was hitting receivers in stride in the reps I saw him take during one-on-ones. It was good to see him perform pretty well in a camp setting with highly-touted prospects.

The junior completed 17 of 22 passes for 292 yards with five touchdowns.

was outstanding for Capo Valley Christian last season averaging 212 yards with 28 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
He has a nice and high release and is very accurate on the deep throws. He has a good idea of when to put some velocity on the ball and when to put air underneath it.
Level of competition may be a concern for some college coaches, but he has tools and a good grasp of the game. 2023 could be a big junior season for Richie.
