Norton was dominant last year at Red Springs, winning largely off of speed and athleticism off the edge. Now, he’s moving up classifications, and I’m interested to see if he can continue that production against more consistent tackle play. If he can, it’s a good indication that he can do it at the college level as well.

Norton has great athleticism and pops on film, even as I was watching the highlight tapes of some of his Red Springs teammates. He has excellent size for a sophomore, and his athleticism and bend around the edge are impressive. As a pure pass-rusher, he looks like a future star. He’s not a bad receiver either, but I expect him to put on weight and hone his craft off the edge in the future.
