Currently ranked among the top 300 juniors in Pennsylvania and the top 40 wide receivers in the 2028 class. Updated measurables have him at 6’1, 167 pounds, an inch taller and 27 pounds heavier than when we last updated his profile. That is a significant physical improvement and gives me even more ammunition when trying to convey to college coaches just how special this young man can be. The additional height and weight should only help his projection as a wide receiver, especially considering the athletic ability and ball skills he has already demonstrated.

Unfortunately, he has only posted once on Twitter this season, which is a little concerning from an evaluation standpoint. I saw him several times throughout the offseason and have been looking forward to seeing how his game translates with his improved physical profile. He should also be listed as a wide receiver and defensive back on our site. At the moment, I only have three clips from his most recent Twitter post to work with, and I haven’t been able to locate an updated Hudl link. That isn’t nearly enough material for a complete reevaluation, especially for a prospect I already have ranked this highly.

I’ve been wanting to see Gratz in person on three or four different occasions this season but haven’t been able to make it happen. I’m particularly interested in seeing what I expect to be the best version of him yet. One of the available clips features an outstanding catch in the back of the end zone after the original play breaks down. He does a fantastic job working back with his quarterback, adjusting to the developing situation and elevating for a football that only he has a realistic chance of catching. His vertical ability and catch radius above his helmet are tremendous, and those are traits I’ve seen from him before. What I particularly like about this rep is how confident he looks attacking the football. He doesn’t hesitate or wait for the ball to come to him. He goes up and makes a difficult catch look natural.

Another clip has him running a nine route, creating separation from an outside corner early in the rep and tracking the football downfield for a 50 yard touchdown. He does a nice job maintaining his route, locating the ball and finishing without allowing the defender an opportunity to recover. Later in the same game, he again works vertically on a nine route, gets free downfield and finishes with an impressive toe tap for his third touchdown of the contest. That combination of vertical separation, ball tracking and sideline awareness is exactly what I want to see from a developing outside receiver. He has the ability to stretch the field, but he also understands how to finish difficult catches when space becomes limited.

None of this is particularly surprising to me because I already know what Gratz is capable of. His offseason performances gave me plenty of confidence in his athletic ceiling, and these three clips reinforce the traits that originally earned him a spot among Pennsylvania’s top 300 juniors. The improved size is another major positive, although I still want to see how he is handling physical coverage, contributing throughout entire games and developing as a complete receiver rather than relying exclusively on explosive plays.

His current ranking reflects a prospect who is approaching Division I level talent, if not already positioning himself as a high priority recruit for Division II programs throughout Pennsylvania. I don’t have enough new tape to justify a significant rankings adjustment right now, but I remain extremely encouraged by his physical development and the flashes of playmaking ability he continues to showcase. I would love to see him live before the season ends and get a more complete look at how much he has improved since the offseason.

Nasir Jarmon Nasir Jarmon 6'0" | 140 lbs | WR Gratz Mastery Charter | 2028 State PA earned a 2nd team selection on offense at the showcase. He is a talented wide receiver who displayed good hands. He catches the ball extremely well, especially during the one-on-one competition. I love how he gets in and out of breaks, as he is good at showing speed and then breaking down and running good routes. Jarmon is currently waitlisted, but he is someone who Prep Redzone should rank. He showed at the showcase that he belonged as a ranked prospect.

Nasir Jarmon Nasir Jarmon 6'0" | 140 lbs | WR Gratz Mastery Charter | 2028 State PA is a big-play wide receiver from George Washington. He was outstanding at the showcase. He earned a 2nd-team selection at the showcase for his consistent performance. He was good, especially at making plays in the one-on-one competition. He was also good during individual drills, showing an excellent ability to get in and out of breaks. Jarmon is a good wide receiver, and he showed it at the showcase.

Wish I was able to capture more of Jarmon’s performance on tape, yet it was one that wowed the wideout coaches enough to name him a Top Performer post-event. Twitter has Jarmon at George Washington, sign-up records have him currently at Simon Gratz. 6’1, 160 pound sophomore Philly Public League prospect who made a convincing enough case to elevate his name off of our watch list moving forward. He showed that he is an explosive vertical and post-route threat. He consistently stacked DB’s and created major separation. Definitely has big play ability. Had the DB’s struggling to stay in phase with him.
