Playing in the trenches in the eight-player game requires agility and athleticism. Without it, you’ll be grabbing at air. Cooley doesn’t experience this issue as we can see when watching his junior highlight video. Not the prototypical size of an offensive lineman, Cooley overwhelms opponents with his burst, strong hands and physicality. His frame can easily add mass and strength in a college program while keeping his quickness. That also would aid him on defense, where he attacks the opponent while lining up in different spots in the formation. Cooley runs well enough to play linebacker in the 11-player game.
